Musical Theatre Workshop

The goal of this class is to give students a method for basic song preparation, aiding in the development of body awareness as well as introducing and using fundamental acting techniques. The class will provide opportunities for students to experience a personal and truthful connection to song material.  The class will work through how to choose music theatre material appropriate for type and age which can be used for theatre or college auditions. The class will be taught with a piano accompanist present who will aid in learning to work with an audition accompanist and create practice CD’s for the students to have for rehearsal at home. This workshop will culminate with a filmed showcase performance of the work generated in class.

Ages 10+: Tuesdays 4:30pm-6:00pm, TBA

Registration is $250 for 10 weeks, plus a $25 registration fee.
