Scott William Foley attended Illinois State University, majoring in English. Before graduating he decided he wanted to join the ranks of American Literature and thus embarked upon writing his first novel.  He substitute taught during the day and wrote at night.  Within six months he’d finished the first draft of Souls Triumphant.  Two years later, Scott returned to Central Illinois where he joined the faculty of Bloomington High School.

In October of 2007, a local periodical called News & Views for the Young At Heart hired Foley as its monthly short story writer.  He recently resigned from the position after starting his graduate degree in Reading, and, with a two-year-old in the house, there’s just not enough time in the day!  Scott still teaches at Bloomington High School and you can find him at his website (www.scottwilliamfoley.com), Facebook, LinkedIn, and Amazon.com.

TheatresCool is Central Illinois’ only professional training ground for beginning, aspiring and professional actors. Classes will enhance your individual creativity, literacy, self esteem, musicality, movement, sense of fun, self confidence, performance and theatre skills. Exercises include improvisation, character games, and children write and perform their own plays. There will be an in class performance at the end of each session.
